What I wore on the F21 Private Launch / Fashion Show

Being one of the organizing team of the event, we were required to wear something black. Since my sister and I were the ones facilitating the registration (the front-liners) we were asked to dress fashionably -- which I loved haha! So I had a custom-made dress done just for the event.

Dress from Patahian by Aztec & Popoy Barba and Dodjie Batu

HEY THERE!

THE LIGHTS!!! LOVE IT.

I look so awkward. I'm really not good with cameras. Not camera shy but I'm not a model too! Haha! So maybe that's why ;)

Ok. My big toes got super swollen cause of my peep-toe heels. Hence the flats haha! Got myself a pair while shopping! I just couldn't stand shopping and walking around with my swollen big toes no more! Torture. Haha!

So what do you think of my dress? Do you like it? I got a lot of crazy reactions from my friends who saw me actually wearing it on the event! But I'd take those as a compliment! "Positivity." Like what I always say on my twitter. It's the key to success --  a.k.a. optimism.

P.S. I would definitely wear this dress again! Prolly in one of my night-outs with my friends in Manila. It's just so nice to be worn just once. It definitely deserves a take-two :) agree?

Forever 21 Private Launch & Fashion Show in Davao

I've always been a fan of Forever 21! So I got super excited when I found out it's finally opening in my hometown, Davao City.

Along with the soft opening of SM Lanang Premier (the 2nd newest SM here in Davao), Forever 21 also opened its doors to a few selected guests last 27th September. They also organized a Fashion Show before finally opening its doors to its invited guests/shoppers.

Gatchi and Gatchi was the chosen event organizer of Forever 21 here in Davao City. And as always, Mr. Gatchi Gatchalian invited me to be a part of the event organizing team. And of course I said yes! My sister and I were the ones in-charge in facilitating the registration area. At around 4 in the afternoon, people were already lining up to get inside. Minute after minute, the line got longer and longer. A lot of people obviously wanted to have a glimpse of this exclusive Fashion Show by Forever 21.

So here are some shots of the Event:

The only time you wouldn't see people shopping most probably! Because it was still closed haha!

After the Fashion Show, the doors were finally opened for all the shoppers in the soft opening of SM Lanang Premier. It seemed like a gazillion ants rushing inside the store wanting to have a piece of their sweet sweet craving. Well I was one of the uber excited ants actually haha!

So to all the Davaoenos, have you been to the SM Lanang Premier branch of Forever 21 already? I know you would gaga over the wide array of selection F21 has to offer! From clothing, to bags, to shoes, to accessories! Ugh. They have it all! Which is the reason why my wallet is super slim now :| But it's all worth it!

So. Go. NOW!

Beachy x Shopping Day with My APXLDS BFF

28th September. The day my APXLDS BFF is arriving from China! Woke up around 7am this day. Then I realized Misaki Kanai is arriving today. And I'm supposed to pick her up in the airport! So I immediately got my phone and called my driver. Then when I called her Philippine number, I was so re-leaved that she just landed. Suggested this cafe by the airport where she can grab brecky while waiting for me.

When I got there, we parked by the cafe, then off I go. Running like a little kid that's so excited to see her friend! If you're wondering why I was this excited, well it's because Misaki and I haven't had the chance to see each other for more than a year already. We met March of last year in AIESEC's APXLDS (Asia Pacific Exchange and Leadership Development Seminar) in Vietnam. We became roomies in the pre-conference hotel and immediately got along well. We became shopping and party buddies! We shop like there's no other shopping places we could go and partied like there'e no tomorrow.

After APXLDS was over, we continued to stay in touch even when she was already back in Japan and I was back in the Philippines. We exchanged message over facebook and twitter, and continued to update each other with each other's lives. Until this year, she just messaged me that she's coming here to visit, since China (where she's having her internship now with AIESEC) is going to have a long holiday. We were so excited!!! The two-night quick get-away here in Davao was just so so so fast. Already missing her!

So anyway here's some photos of how we spent our day together.

Here's my APXLDS BFF, Misaki Kanai

We spent a good 2 hours in the beach right after changing at home from the airport

She tried to get a tan

But obviously she failed! Haha! She's still so white!

After the beach, we had lunch at Spirale, Abreeza.

With two of my good friends. Rachelle from CDO and Abi.

I brought her to F21 in SM Lanang Premier. It was so packed since it was the public opening. Plus SM brought some local celebrities for the Davaoenos.

Actually it was only Misaki that was supposed to go shopping, as I already did my shopping the previous day on F21's Private Launch / Fashion Show.

But it was so hard to resist the temptation to shop. Everything's just so nice and uber affordable!

I ended up shopping more than she did! Got 3 5-inch heels! Ugh. We never get enough of them!

And now I'm basically broke. But I'm happy with all my buys. So it's all good!

Here we were super happy with our mini-shopping spree :)

Did you go to Forever 21 already? Not yet? Well what are you waiting for? Go! Go! Go! *as if it's a race* hahaha

What I wore for the day:
Crochet Cover-up: W.A.G.W.
Shorts: Forever21
Bikini Top: Nothing But H2O
Bikini Bottom: Dorothy Perkins

P.S. Outfit Post and F21 Private Launch / Fashion Show to be posted tonight or tomorrow night. Work's keeping me busy really. Client calls plus our boss from Manila is arriving this Friday. But hey! I made time to blog today ;)

My Wacky Crazy Team

Maybe some of you are wondering what it is I am doing besides blogging that makes me so busy -- that sometimes I can't even blog anymore.

Well I'm currently a Property Investment Consultant in Alveo
Ayala Land Davao. Yes! I sell properties such as condominiums. It may sound like it's such an easy job but I would definitely disagree and argue with that. It comes with a lot of stress, perseverance, optimism, hard-work, patience, and a lot more to be able to survive the kind of career we have. But don't get me wrong. I am extremely happy having this job. Especially that I have a lot of wacky crazy friends, including my team of course, that's making the job extra special and fun!

So here's a photo of me with my teammates and our manager (the one on my left)

Okay we can get a bit crazy sometimes! Hahaha! This was actually just taken this morning. Our "wacky" pose! I love you teammates. To more saturation and crazy times together!

xx, Wanderer Stylista

P.S. I will post about the F21 Launch here in Davao City tomorrow. As well as my shopping experience there of course! Plus my outfit on the Private Launch / Fashion Show of F21 :)

Corsets and His Plaids

3 Rings: Accessorize
Black Ring: Bangkok

Sunnies: Zara

I've always been a fan of men's wear! With or without a boyfriend, I always make use of men's clothes. Well of course, perks of having a boyfriend would mean another closet to raid (which I love haha). But even though I don't have one right now, I still incorporate men's clothes with my outfits. How you ask? Well I do shop in the men's wear too! I just love their array of choices. So watch out for a lot more ensembles from yours truly using men's clothes!

In this ensemble, I wanted to make a sophisticated and chill-y kind of outfit. So I paired this BF Plaids with a Corset I got from F21 and High-Waisted Shorts from Soul Lifestyle.

Did you like this ensemble? Well I hope you did!
